Forty three
student disappeared on the evening of September 26 after taking part in a
protest in the city of Iguala, about 120 miles south of Mexico city, the convoy
of buses they were travelling home was stop by Iguala’s municipal police; this “incident” has attracted international attention and the
belief of a massive lack of information in Mexico. On November eight were found
43 people previously killed and burned on the municipal dump of Cocula; the PGR
said that this may not be the bodies of the 43 disappeared students and that
they still missing; on the other hand the PGR holder said that the burned
bodies will be sent to Innsbruck and Austria to identify if they were the
students or not.
This case
reveals the deterioration of Mexico’s political and social justice and security;
because the 43 students were just claiming their rights but this is not the
worst thing; they disappeared when the municipal police stopped the buses this means
that the police is involved on the disappearance of 43 people and instead of
protecting citizens they represent a danger for the society.
The parents
and family of the missing students still having hope until the analysis arrive;
and they will protest in cities across Mexico against the disappearance of
their loved people and the justice they deserve because they want their sons,
fathers, brothers, etc. alive as they were taken. This problem has been heard
around the world and the people of different countries support the protest of
Mexican parents and students against the injustice and ineptitude of politics.
